***Note*** The fillers should be available free or cheap in your area.

Contact lumber yards, cabinet shops, construction sites for saw dust. These places have more than they know what to do with and usually throw it out.

Ask hobby shops and fabric stores to save their scraps for you.

Yard sales and "good will" stores are cheap places to get old t-shirts which are a great filler.

Instructions

  1. Pour 25lbs of sand into a trash bag, roll bag and sand into a ball shape. Place ball into the other two bags. This is extra protection to keep the bag of sand from spliting. Seal the bags with duct tape'
  2. Lay  the other three bags out flat one on top of the other. Pour  the other 25lbs of sand onto the bags in a line.Fold the ends over then roll the bag into a cylinder shape. Wrap the whole clylinder in duct tape. You will need alot of duct tape. Enough to wrap the entire cylider so it will keep it's shape.
  3. Place the ball of sand into the bottom of the bag (centered)
  4. Fill around and up to the top of the ball.
  5. (You'll need an extra person for this) Place the cylinder on top of the ball (centered)
  6. While one person holds the cylinder, the other fills in around it.
  7. Continue filling to the top of the bag.
  8. Hang bag and enjoy.

The contents used to fill the bag will settle. As it settles just continue to fill untill completely full or at the desired weight.
